Tina’s Idea of Fun opened in The Peacock theatre on 14 April with the acclaimed Hilda Fay playing the lead role of Tina.
Sean P. Summers’ play follows the story of Tina who can’t get through to her son. Fay’s character Tina is stuck on the drink and tormented by her past. She wants to get her sons attention. When Queen Elizabeth II makes her first visit to Ireland, Tina’s post-protest party brings out the worst in everyone.
The play which finishes up in The Peackcock theatre on May 14 2016, has recieved favourable reviews from both the press and the public since it opened on April 14.
